[8 Weeks Before Christmas]
The holiday season brings joy, warmth, and the anticipation of enjoying time with family. However, an unorganized kitchen can quickly turn that joy into stress. In this post, we’ll explore actionable tips to organize your kitchen and ensure you are ready for holiday meals, allowing you to savor every moment.

Assess Your Cabinets
Open your cabinets and take a look around. Are items spilling out when you try to find something or preventing you from opening certain drawers? This is a clear sign it's time for a refresh. Focus on the cabinets or drawers causing you the most frustration.
Start by removing anything that you no longer use, is broken/expired, or that you don't love. Here are the areas where I see the most issues in homes:
Utensil drawer
Spice cabinet
Mugs, cups, tumblers
Tupperware
Again, the point of this process isn't to leave you with a perfectly organized home by the end. The point is to do some quick tasks that will help you during this busy season.
Organize Your Kitchen Holiday Essentials
Make sure you can easily access the items you will need for holiday meals: special dinnerware or glassware, baking dishes, stock pot, roasting pan, etc. Sometimes these things get hidden in the back of a cabinet. Find them now so you aren't tearing your kitchen apart mid-Thanksgiving dinner cooking and cursing the fact that your meat thermometer is nowhere to be found.
If you find things you no longer need while searching for these items, donate them!

Keep Your Kitchen in Top Shape
After going through the above steps, maintain that order by continuing to put things back where they belong and not over purchasing at the grocery store. Stay on top of clutter to prevent it from accumulating again.
