It's the start of November and you've just realized you have 8 weeks until Christmas! Your house is still in chaos from all the fall activities and sports and you don't know how you will get it on track to host for the holidays.

Elegant table setting with lit candles, autumn leaves, and white dishes on a checkered runner. Cozy ambiance with a decorated mantel.

I have an easy plan for you to follow. In this series we will tackle one area per week, so by the weekend before Christmas, you will feel peaceful in your home and free to enjoy the festivities and check off other last minute things that come up before the big day.

Here is the plan:

In this series, the focus will not be on re-doing every space. That type of job requires a lot of time and planning (and often a professional). Right now, we will be doing "soft decluttering," which involves working in small areas at a time. We will NOT be emptying the entire kitchen, buying new bins and products, and rearranging everything.

The goal is to touch up the main spaces you will be using for the holidays to make it feel more calm and peaceful. Not to mention, get the new year started off in the right direction. This season often feels so chaotic that organizing your home is probably the last thing on your list. But by tackling small areas, one at a time, you can make a big impact without feeling like you've lost your entire weekend.

Are you ready to get started? (Maybe not, but let's do it anyway!)
